If you care about your freedom and privacy, you'll sign this. i posted it to my site but I think it should be spread as far as it can go. Do you want John Ashcroft looking at your medical records? No? Then do the right thing.

FEMINIST MANIFESTO
The poet Mina Loy, in “Feminist Manifesto”, wrote that all girls should be surgically de-virginized at the age of thirteen. That way, the artificially male-construed myth of virtue would be demolished, and there would no longer be any question of a woman having to choose from the only two options of representing either a mother-figure or a slut.
Forgive her for her mis-placed violence; she wrote this sometime before WWII when the flatness of the societal perception of woman-hood warranted a stealthy knifing.
Besides, I think that most of us have taken care of the act of de-virginization with the insertion of a tampon. Seventh and eighth grade swim meets and cheerleading try-outs are probably more responsible for the loss of virtue (as defined by the absolute lack of ANY penetration) than actual sex. Who on earth would suffer by choice waddling around with a small pillow between the legs?
My bossy junior-high friend, Sela Henderson--also responsible for giving me an unfortunate home perm and for criticism on the need to shave my legs and armpits-- introduced me to Platex Ultra-slim. In spite of the “gentle glide applicator”, the whole process was very painful. (Sela said it didn’t hurt at ALL, but then she was a big German girl.) The first time I tried to push it in, I passed out on the bathroom floor with it half sticking out of me. The embarrassment of this episode, and the humiliation of being rescued by my mother, determined my fate as a sporadic alcoholic. The next day, I took two swigs of my father’s gin beforehand and was amazed at how easily the procedure went.
